Farewell 2011! Come at me 2012!

In short, 2011 has been the best year of my life so far.

I’ve never felt more alive, more happy and more inspired. I have started my overseas adventures and have caught what are, for now, glimpses of the beauty and sheer complexity of this big, curious world we live in. I hope to experience more of it. I’ve learnt to let go, I’ve learnt to take risks. I’ve learnt to embrace my fears and become braver and stronger by facing them. I’ve discovered the greatest love of my life, someone I met what feels like a lifetime ago but have only this year come to adore with everything I am. I’ve learnt to be alone, without feeling lonely. I’ve come to appreciate more than ever the love and support of my dearest friends and family. Sure, we’re not perfect, we have our moments, but every moment of peace I have with them is worth every battle along the way.

So, dearest followers and friends, here’s to 2012! May it be filled with the best adventures yet! Let’s keep our dreams big, our worries small, our hearts full and our hopes high! Heeere we gooooo!
